Our Story
Filmteenth is a fundraising effort by Vector Scholar, a 501(3)C STEM non-profit which provides STEM soft skills for underserved youth.
Filmteenth Film Festival has screened over 50 films celebrating American achievement since 2022, founded in the Washington, DC metro area
and screening films to community and university audiences
in New York City, Wash D.C, and Los Angeles, CA.
We celebrate community achievement and the art of filmmaking by bringing together passionate filmmakers and audiences. We are dedicated to celebration of the Juneteenth holiday and the promotion of education, history of the American diaspora.
